I’ve been preaching and teaching Bible classes in fill-in roles for most of my life, but in 2019, I received the opportunity to begin working full time in the gospel here in Alabama.
It’s been a great blessing for me, and I’m excited for the future working with Christians to teach Christ to the community in the Jefferson County area. In the process, I want to make sure I’m providing you all with content you can use not only for your own encouragement and growth, but also in reaching out to others who may not know what it means to walk in Christ.
You can also find some of my writings at www.reasonfromtheword.com. I’m moving the content from that site over here, but for now at least, you can find some of the materials I’ve worked on in the past. I’m hoping to start writing more consistently this coming year, if time and opportunity permit.
My goal in this podcast is pretty simple:
To challenge myself and you so that we’ll constantly be applying God’s word and God’s standard to our own lives. We’ll never live up to that mark perfectly, but we are called to work every day to conform ourselves to the mind and life of Jesus (Philippians 2:5), working out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12.)
